MISS WORLD SOUTH AFRICA ORGANISERS CONGRATULATE CLAUDE MASHEGO FOR WINNING TITLE
JOHANNESBURG, 30 October 2023 – Carol Bouwer Productions has congratulated Claude Mmakgaka Mashego, for winning the inaugural Miss World South Africa crown, earning the right to represent the country at the Miss World pageant in New Delhi, India, on March 3rd, 2024.
In March next year, Claude will join contestants from more than 100 countries and territories to become Miss World 2023. Miss World 2022 Karolina Bielawska from Poland will crown her successor at the event.
MINNIE DLAMINI AND THREE OTHER HEAVYWEIGHTS TO HOST THE INAUGURAL MISS WORLD SOUTH AFRICA ON OCTOBER 28
JOHANNESBURG, Sept 21 – Media personality, businesswoman, actress and producer, Minnie Dlamini, will host the inaugural Miss World South Africa finals on October 28 at the State Theatre in Pretoria.
“I admire the many young women like Minnie who have come to epitomise excellence in broadcasting in South Africa. I am also proud of the work she has done to set herself apart from others,” said Carol Bouwer, founder of Carol Bouwer Productions, the new licensee and host of Miss World South Africa.
MEET THE 2023 MISS WORLD SOUTH AFRICA JUDGES
JOHANNESBURG 29, September 2023 – Here are the seven judges tasked with selecting a Miss World South Africa out of the 12 finalists, one of whom will represent the country at the Miss World final in India in December.
The judges, who are experts in their fields, and have a love for pageantry are: Daniel Asiwe (Nigeria), Dato Tiffanee Marie Lim (Malaysia), Dr Norman Cahi, Ava Hall and Sithembile Ntombela, Realeboga Malatji and Dr Rolene Strauss all from South Africa.

JOHANNESBURG, 30 June 2024 – The organisers of Miss World South Africa have announced the top 10 finalists for the 2024 edition who will also battle it out for the grand finale in October so that one of them can represent the country at the Miss World finals in December.
After casting the net wide in all nine provinces in search for a young lady who wishes to follow in the footsteps of reigning queen, Dr Claude Mashego. The organisers received more than 350 entries from all nine provinces.

MISS WORLD SOUTH AFRICA FINALS TO BE HELD IN SUN CITY IN OCTOBER
JOHANNESBURG, 11 September 2024 – The 2024 Miss World South Africa pageant featuring 10 hopefuls will take place on Saturday, October 5th in Sun City, Pilanesburg, North West Province.
The winner will represent South Africa at the Miss World finals in February 2025. The venue will be announced by the London-based Miss World Organisation soon.
“I am excited about the second edition of Miss World South Africa will be held in Sun City. The finalists are just sublime and we wish them all success as we know they are primed to be successful leaders of the future,” said Carol Bouwer, the license holder of Miss World South Africa and President of Miss World South Africa Organisation.
